Angus Young Introduction
Angus Young (born 31 03 1955) is a Scottish-born Australian music performer, and the lead guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder of the hard rock-band AC/DC. He was listed into the Rock and roll Hall of Fame along with other members of AC/DC in 2003 and is recognized for his energetic shows, student-uniform stage outfits, and his popularization of duckwalk. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine graded Angus at # ninety six in their list of the one hundred best guitarists in history. In 2011 he was ranked as the twenty fourth most effective guitar performer upon the new list of 100 most significant guitarists.

Angus obtained his 68 SG Standard in 1970, and has tried on all significant AC/DC recordings and numerous trips after the bands inception in 1973. Youngs 68 SG is known to be an excellent demonstration of this style, with an unusually slender neck, pick-ups that combine the best amounts of strength and sweetness, and a resonant, vocal tone that is representative of the best of the SG style.
